Air suspension oscillation

Angry Air suspension oscillation

I’m experiencing what appears to be an air suspension oscillation at highway speeds. When traveling at 73mph on a smooth concrete surface highway, the suspension rocks side to side every 2-3 seconds. It is subtle but noticeable. The steering wheel and vehicle direction stays stable. The road is not inducing the oscillation - cars around me are showing no suspension movement. Has anyone had a similar experience?



One other observation. When parked and the suspension height is switched from low to high, the rear end goes up first, followed a second or so later by the front end. Does your car with adjustable air suspension behave similarly?

I think there are not enough owners around to give any useful information. It could be a software issue, or maybe one of the sensors that supply info to the ASM is defective.

I haven't seen the problem myself on the highway but I do notice when raising or lowering the car it often does so unevenly but it locks in on the new height pretty quickly. I've had a similar experience with air suspension in the past and even the hydraulic suspension in Citroens was uneven. You might report the highway experience do the dealer and see if he or she can duplicate it. Mine had this same issue, and for those finding this thread that are also having problems, it ended up being the rear control arms for me. This was similar to a E-Pace problem. My tech's took NINE WEEKS to diagnose and repair this issue, and only after finding the same problem in E-Pace reports.
