Default DC fast charging - limited at 80%?

Over the weekend, I fast-charged an I-PACE on a DC SAE CCS charger, but the charging stopped itself when the car was ~80% charged. It wasn't an even number of minutes or money or anything, so it seems like the car stopped it because of the charge level. I couldn't find a setting in the car, but has anyone else tried fast charging and hit the same?

Could it have been a temperature issue?

I think fast charging to 100% shortens the battery life. There are all sorts of peculiarities with electric vehicles now coming apparent as they go mainstream. The fanatics will put up with most of them, but I suspect most people will not. I was told by the dealer rep that showed an I-Pace to aur local club meeting that Jagaur give a guarantee of battery life in nn years but it is at a much reduced charge level. So, it keeps working, but the range gradually diminishes

The Tesla fans have been harping on the I-pace's seemingly short range given the rated battery size. I think Jaguar is being very conservative in limiting the depth of discharge to both lengthen battery life and maintain "like new" range as the battery pack ages.

This isn't just a Jaguar thing. DC fast charging isn't the best for the battery, so all manufactures that I know of greatly reduce the charging after 80% on the DC fast charger.
