Default SAE CCS Charging Stations Still Lagging

This chart out of Green Car Reports showcases they are making progress with DC fast chargers but that the one we use, SAE CCS, is still lagging (in number of stations but not number of outlets) Tesla and CHAdeMO (the Japanese standard). I've looked into CHADdeMO adapters (they have them in Asia) but they are wicked expensive and the CHAdeMO direct chargers, while better than the Level 2 chargers we have in our homes, are really underpowered against the SAE CCS ones. It is interesting to note that while Tesla has far fewer Stations they have far more chargers at each which is what gives them the leading number (1/3rd of the stations, 2xs the outlets). So it is getting better, just not as fast as I'd hoped. I still don't have a SAE CCS fast charging outlet within 150 miles of where I am which seems odd given I live in a resort town. https://www.greencarreports.com/news...umber-ccs-ones
