Dang it!!!
I broke the knob on my light switch---turned it the wrong way--forcefully of course and it came off. Lots of little bits of broken plastic and that small metal ring. Where to find a replacement? Do you think the scrap yard is the best bet? I took a quick look online and I'm afraid this will turn out to be one of those hard to find items. Anyone seen one, or maybe have one they would like to part with reasonably

I go there for everything first. The local one for me is 50 miles away. What I do is call them all and ask if they have any 89-94 XJ's, which are interchangeable with my 90. Once I find one I go and pick off that car as if it were an apple tree. Searching is half the fun, for me anyway. Good
luck.
luck.
there is a scrap yard about twenty miles from me the specializes in foreign cars so I might give it a shot--it would be fun to just dig around. Next weekend is my anniversary wonder if my wife would mind that for a date!
I think you'd BETTER be hiding behind the couch if you suggest it! lol
That's the word that gets me, too.
Kinda like a wolf hearing the words "pork chop".
I loves me some boneyards ...!!
