i did 20% all the way around (except the windshield of course). Took the rear deck out because i hate when people cut around the third brake light (pet peeve, sorry). Took about 15 minutes to take the door panels off, and 5 minutes to get the rear deck out. Side windows took about 30 minutes tops, rear window has to be heatshrunk before applying. Too many curves in the rear glass to heat shrink it while on the inside.

Anyway, everything came out pretty good. ill post up some pics tonight when i get home.

Congrats- I got 15 on mine not too long ago. I thought about taking them off for a bit (its hard being a young black guy with a dark tint on a nice car), but I'm starting to manage to get around without getting pulled as much anymore.

I have heard that tinting the windows can cause interference with the navigation signal. Any truth to this?

Yeah Jason I did the same and removed the package tray, I hate when a job looks hacked.. I also went with 4% and its really thick unbreakable security tint that you can punch through, came out really nice.. No relief cuts or any of that, all molded.. but I went ahead and threw 50% on the windshield, just to knock out some of the heat..

Cincinnati: I have heard 15 different people say 15 different things on this subject.. My window tinting shop said that sometimes its a problem, sometimes its not.. When I did mine, I put metallic 4% on my back window, but I didn't have a Nav disc.. So when I got my Nav disc, my antenna couldn't get a signal so I pulled it off and put ceramic 4% tint (much more expensive) on instead of metallic... Then I figured out that my antenna was broken the whole time.. so who knows whether the tint would have interfered or not.. My Jaguar tech friend says that he's "done extensive research on the subject, and nothing suggests that metallic tint has anything to do with Nav reception.." Well everything on the internet suggests exactly the contrary.. So trust Jaguar or the world wide web.. the choice is yours..

tint usually affects RF transmission. It can effect your radios performance in the am/fm bands, but not usually in the gps signal area. Be careful what you read online. Sometimes it is only partially true.

YES!!!, if the tint has any metal in it it will interfere with the nav system. Use ONLY a NON-metal tint, you won't have any problems.

NO, the tint effectively blocks RF signal, not GPS
