Default 6 Speed In Line Sequential Gearbox for our V8 4.2 supercharger

Hi,

some have installed a manual transmission in our 4.2 supercharger ..

but perhaps they did not know that there was another more racing gearbox!

first heard the roar of 4.2 on this video by Ferlito Racing and feel in many milliseconds are made gear changes

https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=4673415552242

and this is the 6 Speed In Line Sequential Gearbox installed on that car:

Jaguar - Jaguar S-Type R 4200 V8 - Modern car - Bacci Romano Trasmissioni Meccaniche

what do you think about?

It's not DIY.... it's not cheap... OK, let's say it's VERY expensive.

Why bother? Buy a car with more power.

I would like to reflect: there is a kit for our cars with Twin Screw supercharger to £ 10,000 (about $ 14,750) and someone installed it.

read price list:

TL Performance Packages - Tom Lenthall Ltd - Independent Jaguar Specialists

I do not see why it could not happen that someone else wants to install this gearbox which costs 13200 euro ($ 13,900)

the rest of my purpose is to make known to all of us of the existence of this! then, of course, there will be those who are interested and who is not.

but I think I gave interesting information.

OK, I didn't see why you posted but I think it's maybe a language problem.

probably my English is imperfect and I apologize to everyone if sometimes you do not understand exactly what I mean. I help with google translator. But the important thing is to give an important contribution for all. and I hope I have made my contribution in recent years.

Best Regards

Thank you for this and for previous information.
We are indeed interested in any options for our cars. Keep posting anything new you discover.

Can you find out if the ECU will recognize this transmission as OE or will it throw error codes.

Many thanks Autobahn kid.
In the site you will see even the limited slip differential for our Jaguar.

Also for more information on the unit, you can contact directly the company that will definitely give you an answer.
