How to disconnect fuel rail inlet hose-'07 XK
I want to disconnect the fuel hose from the fuel "rail assembly" at the left side of the motor. There appears to be a quick-disconnect/connect fitting that is safety-guarded by a simple black metal bracket. The fitting looks similar to that of GM products. I tried to disconnect. The car had been sitting for several weeks, so I assumed there was no fuel pressure in the line forcing the connection tighter. I have the little GM plastic tool for this, but it doesn't fit and is useless. Additionally, the connection seemed really tight and could not rotate the connection.
Question: is there a special Jag tool required; and if so, what is the part number/cost/etc. Alternatively, am I just missing something in the procedure.
Thanks

Rey,
Pleased to hear it's the right one. It certainly looks an unnecessarily complicated coupling but must make for a quick assembly job in the factory.
I have a bit of self interest in getting to know the XK/XKR as it will probably be my next Jaguar model.
