Default how many of you are interested in hotter cams and staged head packages?

I contacted what I believe to be one of the best shops in the country for headwork. They have done fabulous things with the 3000gt community I used be heavily into. I have personally had first hand experience with their work and it's top notch, both in horsepower production and reliability. M group of friends here have used their turbos an dheads/cams and built 3000gt's dynoing in the 700whp range. back before the track closed those cars took a beating in the range of 30psi of boost and kept on ticking with DR parts. They have most recently done the heads on my friends twin turbo viper (not yet done, but HP on lesser setups has been iin the 1400rwhp range). I woud trust no one else with the heads on my jag. At any rate i'm trying to get a feel for what people want so I can try and get something rolling here aside from the normal all bark and no bite approach.

That said would anone be interested in hotter cams and heavy headwork? Perhaps you are interested in more, post up lets see what we can get done together

And i was gonna say the ecu will comphensate up to 20% added fuel. But the issue with cams is gonna be a p0300 (random misfire) from a change in idle characteristics(slight lope) and without tuning capabilty your not gonna get rid of this. So im assuming youre talking about regrinding stock cams? Have you looked into aston martins. Many parts can be swapped.
If they regrind and dont change idle characteristics youll probobly be fine. And head work for increased breathing wont be an issue for the ecu to handle....just some fyi

You are correct sire, just a regrind. I had no idea that astons had swapable parts. I was under the impression that the aston's used a supercharged 6 and a v12 I didn't realize any of their engines were related to any of the Jag parts. On the otherhand it probably be prohibitively expensive to get ahold of aston parts anyway . Any ideas on what model astons have swapable parts?

There is of course a big difference between the NA and SC engines as the NA is having VVT. So you would already have to investigate 2 different setups.

If you are looking for possibilities for the SC car I might be interested, but it is not going to be cheap I am afraid. They need already to be experts in the field, need to understand the supercharged bit, need to investigate the heads with current cams etc (which they probably do). Then also some testing needs to be undertaken...

Maybe you can get away with making the cams a tad more aggressive, a tad more lift, not sure, this is not my area. I tried a couple of years with many companies in the US to have something made with any success (nobody was interested in even trying).

Depending on the price count me in, am also more then happy to support the development.
