New to Jags, what mods increase mileage
I have read some through the forums for information. I see a post that an upgrade package from Mina gallery with exhaust and pulley gave something like 6 miles per gallon increase.
Is there anything else that would also increase mileage?
I have a 2002 XJR Base model

On my car the lower pulley upgrade (from Powerhouse) seems to have had a slightly negative effect on mileage. Probably because it's hard to resist the urge to use the added power. On highway cruising I see no difference at all.

Hey Marc I remember last Sunday at the Morning Coffee meet you said your MPG got significantly better with your new exhaust compared to stock... can you remind me what figures you're seeing?

I used to get an average of about 18 MPG now with all the modifications I am getting 24 MPG on a regular basis, and I drive it pretty hard.

Hmmm, maybe this will help. It is a guideline I use.
A good way to think of Torque, on a dyno chart, is as how efficiently the engine is coverting fuel to tire rotation. Or, the acceleration you feel.
A good way to think of HP, on a dyno chart, is as how quickly the engine is converting the fuel to tire rotation. Or, how fast you can ultimately go.
