Took my supercharger cover off and see this
Is that little amount of black stuff on the rotors the remains of the rotor coating that is supposed to give it a better seal?
The car has 52K miles on it now. Runs super strong.
No worries, since the car runs so strong, I was just curious...

tht black stuff on the rotors is solidified oil residue the gold coating is still on the rotors and with the oil stuff cleaned off would be grayish color. I wouldnt use anything harsh cus it will take off the coating. The residue is not gunna help or hurt anything to my knowledge but take a towel and rub it off if you like.
