Greetings Admins,

I've been receiving spam emails from a guy who is outraged at me for not helping him to disable his ABS and SRS failure warnings.

If I go to "Edit Ignore List" in my personal setup menu and add his name, does that block him from my mailbox? Or does that mean that any of his public posts won't come up when I view a thread? I'd like to do the former, not necessarily the latter. Thanks in advance for your advice.

Back to your original topic as far as I know with "ignore list" his public posts will be seen by everyone but you .

JTO - If you ignore him he should not be able to send you pm's but that is not the point.
Are you saying that a member here has your email address and is sending you Spam emails because you were unable / unwilling to help him?
If so, please advise and he will be banned from this forum IMMEDIATELY.
This is totally unacceptable behaviour.

Please let either myself / Caddie know and this will be sorted for you JTO

Hi Jim,

It's just private messages to my Jaguar Forums mailbox, and I don't think it's anything I can't handle. I was just curious to learn if I could block this guy from sending me a PM without also losing sight of his public posts as a result. No big drama yet, but thanks for your attention.
