Default Access.......and when do I get some?

I really like this site...there arent alot of places that are Jag specific out there. I'm not intending on leaving here anytime soon, nor am I threatening to do so as if it mattered to anyone. I'm not crying or whining, I just find web communities alot more fun when you dont keep running into locked doors. I understand why (and have read alot of posts on here pertaining to it), whom do I have to ask for some lattitude since I cant PM or log into any of my personal stuff here? Any help would be appreciated. Thank You, Damon

Hi 95....re access?
Yes, a real PITA I know, BUT, there for a damn good reason as you seem to be aware.
There are certain time / post count criteria that must be achieved before these limits are lifted.
In certain circumstances, when I see what appears to be a genuine Jag enthusiast member with a reasonable post count ( that shows genuine Jaguar related interest ) and been a member for a least x amount of time, and I see the post......I can do it manually, and will do in this case

Turn out to be a spammer and I'll come lookin for ya

Dennis, i'll give you a hint..your time is not the issue, its your post count. We've got a limit you need to reach. I bet if you find 8 other new members to welcome to the forums here, you'll find the links magically are available. They're good too...well worth the effort. thanks buddy!

Hi Dennis, I've taken a leap of faith and upgraded your membership status

The object of these initial linitations is not to make new members wait unduly but, to encorage them to be more active members of the site. Many members even with 3 or 4 posts will be deleted in 60 days time or so if they do not remain active and have not logged in for that time period. The major reason though, is to reduce spam posts / pms etc on the site

Jim,

Can you look at making an exception in my case as well? I think if you look at my website www.oldirish.com, you will see that I am an enthusiast and not some spam spewing trogoldyte.

Thanks!

Jerry

Hi Jim-
Is there any chance I can get my access upgraded now? I haven't been a member very long, but I have a few posts and even completed a classified sales transaction with one of your members.

Thanks !
