Default Any way to put a request in for a "PM" box size extension?

I know it might be wishful thinking, but with the amount of PM's I get It can't hurt to ask I'm forever cleaning the box out.

Thanks in advance (even if you say no).

George,

I don't know the answer, but have my doubts maybe you should PM Jim?
In the meantime I'm going to move your question to the forum help section where it will be more easily seen.

Hey George, read your request on pm storage size limit.

It really is there for a reason, and you're lucky.....on my Audi forum you get 10 message limit, where here we have allowed Full Access Members 50 message limit.
Registered users can NOT access the private message system, period!

Moderators have a much bigger limit but as they have to deal with pm's / issues etc its understandable.

Having given it due consideration, I have increased the limit to 75 which should be more than adequate for any member. Its quite a hefty increase of 50% and I hope it helps

Its really not a bad idea to clean out old messages anyway..... a little house keeping never did anyone any harm

If you like to keep your pm history you can download them in 3 different ways as well .Thus even if you delete all the messages you will be able to see old pms

Thank You!

I DO clean out on a regular basis, but you know what always gets me - going into the "sent" box, to erase my replies. This will definitely help some though.

I also haven't had the heart to delete Riski's PM's I'll download them and save them somewhere.

Take care and thanks again.

George

George, just a thought, but you can always un-tick the save a copy of sent messages in your sent items folder, before hitting the send button.

This will reduce your used storage amount. (although not so great if you need to track).
