getting error messages everytime I attempt to upload. Messages say wrong file extension, but the extensions are correct. (PDF, PNG, etc). Been happening for a few weeks, even with my VPN off.

As you can see, both file types successfully attached to my TEST posts. It must be the new awkward b****r filter selectively editing your contributions.

IB will see your post and are bound to ask about your hardware and browser. Please add details.

Safari V13.1 Operating system is Mojave. MacBook Pro mid 2012. Issue started a couple weeks ago I think.
You're just going to have to trust that this is a PDF file. I've loaded dozens but the warning blocks the file name.
Ad Blocker turned disabled as well

JPEG uploaded fine.

Seems to be an issue with PDF and PNG only?

 

Using Chrome version 83.0.4, same laptop

 

Using Firefox v 76.0.1

 

Disregard this thread. It appears to be happening with select PDF files. They are PDF's but problem must be on my end as the specific PDF I've uploaded before. PNG is working also. I will retry with safari once more but looks like this is an issue on my end

Thanks Graham. Back on Safari and no error messages. Just with two specific files. And odd that I would find two that didn't work. Anyway, all other randomly selected files don't give me an error. Thank you for closing the thread and sorry to bother.
