I purchased a 1990 xj6 sovereign this weekend and my coworker who "paid for his house working on jags" told my car is actually an xj40. So as I start to work on her and have questions which forum should I be posting in, the xj6 and xj12 forum or the xj40 forum? Getting told ur posting in the wrong forum is just one of those embarrassing things if like to avoid. Lol.

 

Well as luck would have it, you have a bit of a problem. Could be each of them.

BUT, what bonnet / headlamp style do you have?

I'll guess, XJ40 Sov'

 

Headlamps are squared off not round. So all of my googling tells me that it's probably an xj40. Thanks for the suggestion.
