Default How do I stop "Subscribing"?

Hi guys,
I have somehow subscribed to quite a few threads that I keep getting e-mails about. I don't remember doing anything to ask for this although I must admit that when the threads in question were first posted, I was interested in hearing where they went.
But now I would rather not get messages about them because I am perfectly happy just logging on once a day to see what's what. Anyway, the threads all have a green tick mark at the right hand end and I would like to know how to remove it and so "Un-subscribe" to such threads.
Any help appreciated,
Steve

5tevie - go into your UserCP, located in the black banner above this post you are currently in.
Look for subscriptions......once in there "unsubscribe" or delete subscriptions my friend.....

I'm moving this thread to the help n suggestion centre.

Cheers, Jim,
I tried all that UserCP stuff before a posted the thread.
I can get to the bit where all my subscribed threads are listed (82 of them) but if I tick them all in the box on the right and then click the down arrow on the box at the bottom, the "Delete/Unsubscribe" option can't be clicked on. My only option seems to be to stay subscribed but cancel the e-mails.
If that works, it's a start, lol
Cheers,
Steve

Brilliant, Jim. Just what the doctor ordered.
I'll wait and see if I get any e-mails about subscribed threads over the next few days (just removed 2 of them)
On a similar vein, do I have to do something specific to actually subscribe to a thread or is it done automatically? I ask because I have not, as far as I am aware, clicked on any buttons after starting a thread to say, "Subscribe me to this thread, please".
The thing is, like I said before, I never need to be subscribed to a thread. I come on to the forum 2 or 3 times each day to see what new threads there are and what new posts have appeared on the threads that have interested me so why would I need an e-mail telling me about new posts?
Anyway, thanks for your help,
Steve

You do get subscribed automaticaly, if you click "edit options" at the left of the CP you can select the option not to receive email notifications.
