Default mysterious leak?

On my 82 xj6 series 3 I was driving home on the highway, I stopped at a gas station at a rest area and noticed a puddle under my car. After getting under the car I couldn't find the leak whwre it leaked oil. I put a quart a couple days prior to put it about halfway between min and max; it stopped leaking today once it hit the minimum line. I noticed I add oil every now and then to this car because it stays just a hair under the minimum line. Any ideas?

I had a leak. Took me ages to find. It was an o ring in one of the hoses that went to the oil cooler. There is a thread on here. Im on my phone and not able to link it here. I will try find it and bump it back to the top.

Now I think about it it might of been dirty transmission fluid. Does that make more sense if it leaked for a second then just all of a sudden stopped? I did add a extra quart as well to try and smooth shifts
