Question Getting wrong threads

For some time now, I receive threads from new people trying to introduce themselves, having trouble getting to the right forum or just new people questions. Why are these coming to me? I hate to just delete and ignore them, any ideas?

How are these threads coming to you? Email notification? Are they new threads or updates to existing threads that you either participated in and/or subscribed to?

The only thing I can immediately think of is that you are subscribed to the following thread:

Thanks IB JT, yes, I had New members Must..... in my subscriptions. I deleted it so now I'll wait and see if that does the trick. Thanks again IB JT, I appreciate your help.
