Default Have I done something stupid?

Sometimes when I start reading a thread, the font size goes really small,

it can vary between different threads on the same forum, or be small on the X308 forum and normal size in the off topic forum, or sometimes not vary.

As I said it is intermittent and seemed to coincide with me not being able to use smilies .

It may well be me, as I haven't got the greatest understanding of a confuser.

Any help would be appreciated, Andy.

Excuse my ignorance here, but how would that help?

I use ALOT, have done since before I joined Jaguar Forums, so why would my browser suddenly go bonkers?

At the moment the font is so small ( and my glasses are in the car ) that my nose is nearly on the screen.

I've had similar problems on other sites and the browser was at fault.

If nothing else has changed with your hardware/software, check for a View - Zoom setting in your browser menu.

This is Firefox but the other major browsers have a similar facility to reset the View.

CTRL and the scroll wheel or the +/- buttons should adjust it also.

I tried using Firefox and had the same results.... I did find that if I got on the site as a guest (ie not logging on in my name) every thing worked as normal... read a few threads on different forums, including this thread, and all as normal.

So using my "logic"??? I logged out using the "log out" icon at top right of page, something I had never done before, and now everything seems to be back to normal.

I will either ask for more advice, or report that everything is back to normal in a few days.

Thank you everybody that gave advice. Andy.

Strange but true - sometimes simply logging out the forum ( clears your cache ) and then logging back in, solves a host of issues, seems to be standard procedure for many to recommend from my experience.

Hope all is now A ok Andy?
