Default How Much Longer?

Does anyone know how long it takes to be able to view pics and links in the threads? I joined 4/25 but whenever I try to bring up an embedded pic or link in a thread it tells me my account hasn't been activated or something like that. There's a wealth of information here but I can only read about it, can't see any pics. I have to log out to see the pics. Anybody have any advice?

Niens, it isn't so much based on time as it is the number of posts that you make. The magical number is 10 for you. This was explained in the new member statements that were present on the screen when you signed up.

Why not go to the off topic section and increase your post count in some of the threads there?

I am having same problem. 10 posts seem a bit much to prevent spammers, but rules are rules.

Hey Michael,

Where are you in Glendale? I'm on 78th and Union Hills when I manage to get home.

sorry guys, but unless our administrator reads your post specifically, only a handfull of members get upgraded manually to full access. Why not shoot the bull in this thread here, and get your post count up to 10? There is no 'per day' limit, so share some stories, describe your car, your yard, your city...whatever. Those posts add up quick. (Split up your posts to get more mileage!) lol

Matt is right on the ball.....Its so easy to get 10 posts very quickly, welcome several other newbies to the site, post a pic into the mug shot thread, post into the regional section for your area and maybe one or two into the off topic section where there's always some funnies doing the rounds as well as the usual stickied threads.

Should take around 10 mins I'd say

Norri

I am in Sunburst farms area, by ASU West. I am rehabbing a home in Sedona, so trying to spend summer months out of town.

Norri,

I have a just found a great mechanic this year, 59th and greenway area, prices so low I leave feeling guilty. When I offer more, he says, my shop, my rules.

Michael, that's the kind of place that gets a box of kolaches and/or doughnuts when I bring my car in first thing in the AM, then after a big job, on Friday i've had 4-5 pizzas delivered right before lunch (quantity will vary dependingo on the number of mechanics working at the place obviously). For some reason, they remember me every time I come in, whether its the next month, or the next year.

Kolaches??? If it has moved, or is just about to stop moving it gets eaten, but I don't recognize this one.

Michael if you have found a good mechanic, post up his name in lights, we certainly don't object.

h20boy,

My wife's client had a time share in Cabo, each time down there, he gave front desk, and all staff M&M's ... Funny how he always got the best room and service.

Mike,
Well done 10 posts now so you are good.

Thanks for the mechanic tip, I'm working in SC right now so if my wife has a problem it is a crisis!
We had a friend who was a mobile mechanic but he has gone off gold mining so we have been looking for an alternative.
