how to report problematic posts
It has become apparent that while some users would like to help make JF a better place for all by reporting inappropriate or problematic posts, they are not aware of the report a post function.
This is largely due to the fact that the function is behind an obscure icon that has no obvious meaning. It only becomes meaningful when the mouse is hovered over the icon.
Clicking the report a post icon opens a input box where the user can leave a short note explaining the reason for the report all of the other details are automatically filled in by the forum software. The message is then sent to all forum moderators.
The identity of the user is *never* disclosed publicly.
The report a post icon is located in the black ribbon containing the date at the top of each post at the right hand side and looks like this:
Please be thoughtful when using it, but also do not be afraid to use it.
