Unsubscribe box
OK, another chance to be told I'm a daft old f*rt (which I'm perfectly aware of).
When one pulls down a list of posts (new posts, my recent etc) there's a box with a green tick to say 'you are subscribed to this post'.
It would be really great if it was possible to click on said box to unsubscribe rather than going to user CP etc.
I try to welcome newcomers so I end up with dozens of entries in 'my recent' which are, really, redundant.

From one daft old f*rt to another, if you are looking at your recent posts, subscribed threads list from the My Posts button.
Scroll to the bottom of the page, you will see a forum jump box.
Click on the black arrow and have a look in there.
Click subscriptions and you will be taken straight to your subscribed threads.
Check as many boxes as you want to and then click 'Delete Subscription'. Found in the drop box at the bottom of the 'Subscribed' page.
Click Go and you are done.
Never bothered with it myself (currently 5575 subscribed threads).
Rather than physically looking to see if there has been an update, I allow my email to notify me in the morning over Croissants and then decide if I want to pass further comment or add to the thread.
Course it also helps if I want to monitor a thread
