Embedded info changing......
I posted to this thread: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...-pissed-76852/
I embedded a few pics from Alldata for data code trouble shooting and few explaining the fuel system. Today I scroll down thru the posting to find my embedded info has changed and has replaced with other info???
WTH is going on with that. I used to do attachments but was convinced that embedding was a better route to pass the word.
I don't understand!

Do you mean post #12?
In that case, a right click on the placeholder for the picture shows that the source server is alldata, and it contains a session variable of some sort. The same holds true for the other two pictures.
What has likely happened is that the session variable has timed out, and alldata is refusing to serve the image. They do this because the image has been "hotlinked" and they want to protect their proprietary data and their bandwidth.
The only way around that is to save the picture to your computer, then upload it as an attachment.

It's not us.
I'm seeing, and engine block, supercharger, and further on, some sort of bracket.
Embeding/hotlinking is OK providing the other site allows it. (it is their bandwidth).
I don't know about Alldata, perhaps they have a mechanism to prevent correct copying of their info ( they are a pay site, are they not?)
Whereas an attachment, means that you have uploaded the image to our forum servers. (better in the long run, in case the link gets broken).

@ooootis.
Ahhh, since I posted my first reply above, I now notice that the images have changed yet again.
Am now seeing, a F*RT sensor connector harness procedure and diagrams for connector locations throughout the car.
Constantly rotating images are certainly interesting, but maybe not what you were planning on.
Insert them as attachments.
