Default Jaguar History Option

No, not the history of our cars but of Jaguar as a company. Would this be of interest to the forum's members as a new section?? I confess I'm a former history teacher and this area of the Jaguar story is of interest to me-but to how many others? Just a thought!

I'm sure there would be an interest, I'm expect many are unaware of the origins of the company.

A good thought too.

I've no doubt there would be interest in the turbulent history of the marque.

I'd be interested.

A sticky'd thread with book suggestions / article suggestions might also be of interest.

If you follow the Download link in my signature you will find two sections that may be of interest to you.

OK not the history of the Jaguar company as yet but it is a start.

Interesting Reading contains e versions of books on the history of motor vehicles and power trains etc.

The Illustrated Encyclopaedia of Extraordinary Automobiles, is a great read, author Giles Chapman.

And the section Classic Jaguars contains more technical information on the older Classics. From S1 through 420G with E Types in there as well.

All the above downloads are in the 'Large' category some around 150mb.

Am still on the lookout for new files.
