Loadus exelator?
Whatever loadus exelator is has brought the responsiveness of this site to a crawl. Whenever I hit a link to a forum or a thread in a forum the status bar are the lower left of the window says "waiting for loadus exelator.com". What the hell is this and why is it crippling the site?

Hi Doug,
I gather that it is one of those wonderful third party commercial content providers.
So unless you have a strange thing about 'commercial content' you could filter it out.
As an aside, but related, it is much more problematic in FF rather than IE, which I guess would be something to do with the different engines.

Hi Doug / All, please see below.....
A site on our network has been experiencing a DDOS attack, which unfortunately is dragging down the load times of all our sites, including Jaguar Forums. Our team has been working to contain the attack and restore site speeds.
We hope to have everything back to normal as quickly as possible.
I know its really annoying / frustrating, believe me, it is for me too as I also experience this.
It does seem much better now though as far as I can tell.

As a suggestion, install ghostery
Ghostery
to block some/all of trackers that are present on pretty much all web sites today. In addition to exelate, there are eleven other trackers watching this very page!
I do find it amusing that a site that slows the loading of a page and tries to install stuff is called 'exe late'.
