lost my mobile view

lost my mobile view
I was try to figure out how to translate a posting (germ~eng) and one suggestion indicated that I needed to go to desktop view and then click on the three top dots and...
well, I think that about as far as I got because the only thing I accomplished was that when I click mobile view now the primary left column is slightly larger than when in desktop view...this is on the phone...I need some guidance.
HELP!
