Default No "View First Unread"

Several threads in the F-Types sub forum are not showing that "View First Unread" info anymore. Makes it very unhandy to have to scroll thru many posts to see the latest post.

This was due to the technical issue that was related to the 5 second search flood error.

We believe both should now be working correctly.

I started this thread a long time ago when this pop-up began showing up at sign-in. It doesn't appear on any other website, including other Forums, and if I decline (which is not and option, I just back-space out of that page), I am prevented from uploading pictures. I have uploaded hundreds of pictures since becoming a member, until a few months ago when this pop-up appeared at a sign-in. I have blocked it with Adblocker so that it doesn't appear on the page, but I just can't send a picture. If I "accept", I am able to upload pictures for the current session only, next login I have to accept again. I logged in to this website with my cell phone and chose a post to try sending a picture. I was able to access my picture files and choose one as normal. It would seem to me, certainly not a computer expert, that this malignant pop-up responds to the IP address of my home laptop. I do 98% of my Internet access from there. Cell phones are for taking pictures, making phone calls, and sending texts.

I would like to hear anything you could share on this issue.

Thanks,

Dave

This is unrelated to this thread and topic, however, the pop-up is required as a way to comply with privacy laws. It is based on location, and if you sign-out/clear your browser cookies you probably will get the pop-up again because there is no other way to save the preferences.
