Hey guys just a thought. On several other auto message boards I frequent they have an option for a paid membership. This paid membership does several things. You get a neat little badge next to your avatar that says "premium member" you get bigger avatars, you don't have to look at ads which is nice, you get access to a private section of the board where other paid members can chat and you get to financially support the board too. We pay $15 a year for that, which is more than fair considering the amount of money saved and knowledge gained.

Not sure how hard something like that is to set up, or if anybody else is even interested, but I thought I'd put it out there.

The sites with paid memberships almost makes nothing free ,you don't have custom avatar nor signature . PM box capacity is just 10 or just above it .
This site is giving you all for free

I do hear where you're coming from, but Jaguarforums.com pretty much supplies all of the above anyway for FREE.
Personally I don't think the advertising is too intrusive and a small price to pay for such a good forum. There's no plans to activate paid memberships in the near future.

I belong to another board with paid membership-- the perks it gets is a live chat (shout box) and signature. But I like it fine here too =D
