Default Problems with posting images or emoticons / smilies ??

Problems with posting images or emoticons / smilies
Try this as a possible short term workaround

There are two potential solutions that will allow for the images and emoticons to work again:

Option #1: When using the post editor itself, there's an icon in the top-right corner that, when enabled, causes the issue you're experiencing. Simply click the icon, and both images and emoticons should work again. You'll only need to click this icon one time (the forum should remember your preference going forward), and it'll look like this

(Before you click it) (After you click it)
Option #2: Go back into the Edit Options menu of your User CP and select the "Standard Editor" instead of the "Enhanced Editor."
In both cases, these solutions are workarounds until we are able to properly roll out the new CK Editor again. We're currently making adjustments to the new editor to let it properly display BB Code as everyone is used to, but it should be ready to go soon!
