Default Problems posting to Jaguar Forums

It seems that many times when I try to post something here it does not go through right away. Often it just hangs for several minutes and often ends with an error message. Might the servers be overworked?

It can happen for a variety of reasons.

A safety belt kind of thing is to do a right click, select all, copy. Then your post is safely in your clipboard so that you can paste it into a new reply if the reply bombs.

Good tip from plums there havebook!

I've had this issue myself, more so recently and as stated can be for a variety of reasons. I do know they were doing some work on the servers recently which may have contributed.

Hopefully its short term and doesn't cause you too many problems

I agree, I habitually copy any long post before hitting 'Submit'.

It has been happening more and more frequently.

I am glad I wasnt the only one. I havent been posting much because everytime I type up a response it does the same thing and I just get fed up cause I dont want to type it again. Now I'm been doing the copying thing as a precausion lately. I thought it was something on my end so its nice to know it wasnt just me.

There seems to have been a few issues recently as highlighted below........

"In terms of site speed, our network was DDoS'd today and every site had issues and crashed for a period. We are still looking at the overall network conditions, but today was a seperate problem"
