VIN Decoder doesn't seem to work for me
Hey guys.
I tried to decode my XKR-s VIN but on our forum page it doesn't work for mine, just shows that there is no info for this VIN. A random one I found on Google, says that my '99 XKR Coupe is a 2010 XJ with a 3 litre engine. My own country's database shows all the info on the previous accidents and MOT results but can I decode all the optional extras on my car and stuff like that with the VIN? Only possible when I contact a dealer or can I do it online?
Thanks in advance

Kevin,
Try the lookup tables here:

These are the original VIN's assigned by the factory. Many online VIN lookups are USA based. On older imports, the USA assigns a replacement VIN which can give some odd results with European / RoW vehicles.

I got the best possible reply from my local dealer though, they sent me pretty much all the data, production date, selling date, all the optional extras and color codes. And it was free
