Default Bertone showcases the concept Jaguar B99 at the 2011 Geneva Auto Show

Hi Guys, here are some pics of Bertone's concept Jaguar B99 at the 2011 Geneva Auto Show. What do you think? Should Jaguar head in this design direction and build this car? It has styling cues reminisant of the X350. Perhaps, this can be a possible replacement for a mid size X-Type?

I'm really glad you mentioned this because I really don't like it. I've been worried about this style going for the Xj, but so very relieved that it's potentially being considered for the X-Type (I didn't like the old one much anyway).

I do like some aspects of the B99 though, the pillar less windows, suicide doors, all the wood (just the quantity), the flat profile.

Honestly, I think it will need LOADS of work before it can be put into production.

Now, what I really don't like: the leaper, headlights (taillights are mostly fine), whatever is going on with the front grille (and rear for that matter), the Xj40 box front end (I like the Xj40 though, I owned one), the whole interior is just atrocious.

It's a bit big for X Type replacement , I don't think Jaguar will give a go ahead for this concept considering newest XJ has swept over X350 styling and my personal opinion is that Jaguar will not go back to old fashioned styling .

Still , I would prefer this than X350 models , front end is cool

The car doesn't do much for me, but I wouldn't mind a short road test of that "Devil With the Blue Dress On".

Looks very "conceptish", but it looks pretty cool. It distinctly looks like Jag.

ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS. This is like such a beautiful car, I don't even know how to describe it. I was stuck on the other concepts that they had, but I would lovelovelovelovelove to have this car, it's sooooo nice and looks so lux.

Yea ..looks urbaned out...Think I'll call Sylvester Stalone, tell him put on his judge dred costume, because his car is ready..I'm sure that would tone it down if ever it reaches production, but still i say...seen it before,Still waiting for design with some heart, not what the computer says is fuctional

Reminds me of a modern interpretation of the Aston DB4....not a bad thing - just needs some clean up and it would be good to go. (Please pay attention to the interior - pure minimalism in daily driving isn't a good idea)
