I was wondering if anyone has heard anything more on this subject, I really think this is not the best idea, since Chery is a low quality auto car company and they are going to work with Jaguar?!? These two should not be mixed. Also i hate the idea of Jaguar ever making cars other than in England. This will be bothering me for a while until i hear more news on this subject. Jaguars have not been built anywhere but England, from what i know and i would really hate for that to change..

I like your views on this matter, but if you think that a collaboration with Cherry will affect the Jaguar quality, then its wrong. They know their brand reputation very well, and will never try to make models that will be criticized from their customers around the world. I think, Jaguar-Land Rover is trying to establish its market in China, since it is the World’s first Largest auto making country, and it is obvious for any Auto Giant to invest the money there.

I believe working with Chery is more like a financial sourcing collaboration rather than bring the production in China.
