1960 Mark IX: Keep it or part it out?

Those parts that are common to the XK120/140/150 should get a ready sale, but the rest may be a bit slow. However, if you get it up on eBay you'll soon find out ! Funnily enough there are quite a few of these cars in Germany of all places. Yet one almost never sees a Jaguar in Germany. I see mine in shop windows as I drive by when I'm on holiday there, of course !!

Thanks Fraser,
I just parted out my 1970 Plymouth Duster, due to horrible rust. I was a high performance car with special parts which resulted in me getting two to three times as much money in pieces as I would have gotten for the car complete. I was just wondering if I could get $3000 out of the Mark IX by parting it. The radiator itself must be worth a good buck, not to mention the drive train and the hard to find odds and ends. It probably makes sense to sell the engine first and trans first. I do not want to post it on eBay because I don't want to sell just a few small things then find out it would have been better to sell it whole.
