I am looking at a 1962 Mk 10 for sale today.... a runner just about, RHD Sunroof, reported with zero rust?? Is it collectable? better value in the UK?
Cheers,

In that colour I would have it all day long. Spend a bit of time on the inside and getting it running sweetly and you will have a usable classic that will last for years, not sure about the wheels though.

Just had a look on auto trader, only 1 for sale at 13K GBP with 62K miles on the clock.

I would seriously question the 'no rust' because that generally set in before they left the factory in those days. The quality of steel available in the UK in the early 1960's was dreadful. The line of the front wing beyond the sill looks wrong. It could just be the photo or it could be a bad repair.

Are they collectible? YES - if for no more reason than they are becoming increasingly scarce. Unfortunately values of excellent examples far outstrip the cost of getting them into that condition. Still a very nice car to have if you are considering it because you want to own and run a MK 10.

Default Checked out the MK10

Thanks Gents,
Checked out the Mk10 and drove it, it was a restoration project, and was drivable had a some amount of rust but not unmanageable, but not for me. They were asking $4,500.00, not a bad deal. Needed a re chrome and veneer work.
Most interesting was the 72 Charger they had in under wraps in the back yard.
Cheers,
