Default Manual conversion 420g

Dear fellow 420G owners, i am currently in the process of restoring/refurbishing my 420G. I have decided to also convert it to manual with overdrive while i am at it. The shell of the Jag is totally rust free as it had been stored well and is from sunny South Africa. I have installed the "new" gearbox and overdrive but am wondering whether the rear gearbox support of the auto trans that was in the car would be adequate to handle the gearbox in terms of weight? Also, I would really appreciate it if somneone with a manual 420G could post some pics of their car's brake booster and clutch master cilinder setup in the engine bay. I will post some pics of my progress if anyone is interested. Thus far i have completely stripped the car and had the rear rims widened as i do not like the narrow wheels on these cars. Still have to do the front ones though. I managed to obtain a second 420G, a real rust bucket, but complete so i can make one very nice and complete version.

Thanks in advance
Riaan

You may need to change the spring in the gearbox mount as I think you will find the gearbox+O/d is lighter than the old DG? Box.
That was the case when I changed my ‘66 ‘S’ type over.
