Hello people.
Have renovated tool boxes, stripped, reglued wood repainted and reflocked. Have new rubber seals but not sure where or how it needs to fit. Didn't take a pic before disassembly.
Anyone have a pic of this please in-situ or a blow-up drawing. My parts book hasn't arrived yet. Mike if you see this- Thanks for the tips re the tank removal. It was just stuck as you said. Had it cleaned and resealed.
Otherwise resto coming along. Woodwork all repaired and recoated. Leather looking great. Trim kit coming from UK by sea. Need to be patient, but lots to do in meantime.

DB48,
Attached are pictures on how I attached the rubber trim on mine. Best way I could figure it to work. I used contact cement. I still need to tuck the edges in to get it closed, but it works for me.

Hi Mike, thought you might respond with positive reply! Many thanks for your pics. I think I might try it the other way around with the fatter bit adjacent to the red trim panel. It looks as if it might be a better fit? Without needing to tuck it in?? I will do a dummy run the other way now i see yours. I think the whole rubber seal is a dust/draught excluder.. Thanks again! Can I PM you if I have the odd question please? Cheers David
