Worth swapping Mk IX diff into Mk VII?
Greetings. I'm going to be collecting my late father's Mk VII. He had a Mk IX diff in the shop. Will be difficult to keep and transport. Welcome your thoughts on whether I will want to swap that diff. I'm thinking it may be helpful for a disc brake conversion but unclear whether that's true. Also unclear whether that conversion would need to happen, and/or whether converting the front alone would be enough increased safety margin/expense. Any known advantages for the later differential? Thanks folks.
