Nice looking car- are these pics recent??? How does the driver seat look??? And what's up with the front wheel bearing- it has actually seized?? Can you move the car around?
Is the paint good all over?? No fading to white anywhere on the body?? They do this- just asking.....
Thanks....

Some but not all pictures are recent.
The drivers seat is pretty much a disaster area, which means fix it or cover it.
Both rear quarters have clear coat failure but all the other paint is EXCELLENT! This could be addressed inexpensively depending on what you want.
What's up with the bearing? it's seized, which means the car will have to be towed from my location if you buy it.

Thanks for the update
All I wanted to know was what the current condition of the car is. And so now there it is
We already have 2 emerald green over coffee coupes here now that both need paint work and some interior repair.
I was hoping this one had great paint and great interior (like the listing here originally seem to imply) which would save us having to get into that on either of the other cars.
I'm glad that all is clear now....
Good luck with your sale

Let's see, for $3000 what do you think?

BEAUTIFUL 1997 Jaguar XK8 Coupe finished in Sherwood Green Pearl over Coffee leather interior. The Exterior finish, which could best be described as "Emerald", is still glossy and is virtually blemish free. [...] This car drives absolutely perfect. [...] From behind the wheel, it does everything right. Overall it's just a nice driving car. [...] The interior is VERY NICE. The leather isn't worn or faded.

If someone doesn't have the tools/equipment/patience to change the bearing, XJ8's are being parted in every major city in the US and an upright can be purchased for less than $100 and swapped in in less than 2 hours.
Even though I have a Trailer with a winch (and have drug a 1954 Chrysler Imperial with 4 locked brakes in and out of it), I would show up with a jack, Jackstands, tools and an upright and drive it away 3 hours later.

Your Price is fair. If you were closer to Texas. I'd buy it. The plastic tensions will destruct and destroy the top end of the motor. Metal tensioners are a must do.

Nobody is going to lose money buying this car.

YES - my engine was rebuilt last year following catastrophic failure of the plastic tensioners. The only reason I hadn't replaced sooner is I believed the mechanic who told me they were previously upgraded to Gen 3's.
