    Heya Philef,

Do you by chance have the contact info for the gold xk8 nose in China, or were you ever able to make contact? Either way I'd like the last known info for them should you still recall it.

    Thank you

Thanks for the note! We live at Land Harbor in Linville. Been here/ for five summers, have not met another XKR drlver. Been meaning to get down to the Charlotte meeting but something always seems to come up????
I would be up a creek without this forum.
    Thanks again for the note....

Should be a link in my signature but here is a link Jaguar XJS Restoration : XJR-S bumper install

I have not finished them yet. There was a lot of work to get them to fit, the company who made them did a very poor job. I suspect the molds were old.

I have just started work on the bumpers again today so will update as I progress

    cheers

philhef, I missed your message somehow in Jan. I installed the small leaper on my 1996 XJS 4.0 but didn't snap off the locating stud. I drilled another small hole to fit after enlarging the hole for the base. Someone said the leaper would look like it was jumping 'downhill' but that is not the case.
    Thanks, RagJaag
