Hi Jagicon Sorry, just saw your message. I don't think so. AFAIK all BPMs are Plug and Play. I have a Jaguar IDS system. There is no facility to "Program" the BPM in the software. I saw your recent post about Jag Classic Parts being able to supply a "Non Programmed" module. I don't know what that is or what they think a dealer could do with that. I still maintain that the BPM cannot be programmed. You could PM @motorcarman who does (or did) work at a dealer and ask him for confirmation.

Hi. thank you for your reply re: the BPM. My module currently in the car says "Jaguar Pecus" on the part number sticker. I have noticed that not all BPM's used in the 97 xj6L have this printed on it. I want to ask if this changes the "plug and play" status when there are these words on the module.
