Default RIP Seattle member David Windows (dww).

I got word today that David (username dww) passed away November 30th. He posted many times on the forum, looking for help on his 98 XK8 coupe.

He was very appreciative of the help he received from everyone here. He was intending to join the NW group on a drive but never had the chance.

I met David and his lovely wife Aileen when I was in Seattle on business. They had me for lunch, and we had a good time talking cars.

We only met the one time, but we talked many times on the phone to try and sort out his car.

I'll miss him.

Rob,

I'm sorry to hear the news. David was posting on the forum in late October so it must have been sudden. My condolences to his wife Aileen.

Very sad news Rob, appreciate the post on this

I didn't know David, perhaps came across a post or two, but feel saddened at the loss, my thoughts are with his wife at this difficult time.

Thanks guys. David didn't post that much, only around 50 posts, but he was a nice guy, enjoying life and his Jag. It just ended rather abruptly, and that makes me more appreciative of life.

I have another friend with serious health issues, and he just bought an F Type coupe. Some people apparently were giving him some grief over it, and I said good for you, enjoy it while you can, literally.
