Some of the members have been asking about Jag Techs and their locations by region.
If you are a Jag Tech please feel free to post your approx location details here for all to see. Obviously to protect your privacy and annonymity, basic info only.
That way members can see at a glance what Techs if any are in their area that may be able to assist them.
Further - If anyone has any dealership reccommendations / Independant Jaguar specialists in their area that they would like to put forward, please post up with the Details, location and contact details for other members to see.
The Idea is that this will benefit all members within that locale and help to identify the dealerships that offer the best service and value for money.

I never said anything about not posting unless you were a Jag Tech FJT.......Show me where it says that
....lolI ammended it to include reccommendations for Jaguar dealerships and independant specialists as well. That was H20's suggestion and certainly seemed to make sense.

hi everybody i pulled codes outta my reader and they say

im not sure what these codes are and my car is 1999 jag xj8 vanden plas i would most appreciate the help and im tying to locate the trans dipstick and trying to locate a right front shock absorber bc the rubber has somewhat shrank ! and 1 more thing when i put the car into gear the trans isnt hooking up properly its like its slipping then it engages hard with the wheels chirrping? so many thanks to those who can help ....as i bought the car cheap and i mean cheap.

Good to know smurfz, thanks - was hoping to find closer but if I have a serious problem it's nice to have some alternatives to the dealers (not knocking the quality of the dealers but they can be expensive)
