1959 Mark 1 Enquiry
Hello everyone I’m new to this site. I have a 1959 mark 1 that I would like to get running. It was
suggested to get in contact with someone on this forum named “motorcarman” in Wise county, Texas but I do not see how to contact him nor have a phone number for him. I even googled him but no luck. Anyone have his contact information?
(Phone and email removed - GGG)
thank you

Rick what would you like to know? When was it last run?
I would check fluids to start with, oil, water, gearbox check carbs are free moving and go from there! Maybe remove plugs and get some oil in the bores and get oil pressure up on the gauge, some fresh fuel.........
lets see some pics

If it's been sitting for a while, pull the plugs, add some WD40 in each bore, let sit over night, and gently turn the engine by hand.
Never just use the starter.
If the valves are stuck, using the starter may bend any one or more stuck valves.
When turning it over by hand, one can be very carful doing it this way and avert any valve train damage.
