Default Unable to Pair Phone for phone

Brought my new XF in for a cup holder issue and they kept my car for a week! The reason was a software update that the car would not accept. Now I cannot connect my phone to make a call but the car will connect to music on my phone. They want the car back again. Any ideas

Welcome to the forum sfgmd1,

I've moved your question from General Tech Help to X260 forum. Members here with the same model will be able to advise on their experience with software updates.

Please follow this link New Member Area - Intro a MUST - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the New Member Area - Intro a MUST forum and post some information about yourself and your vehicle for all members to see. In return you'll get a proper welcome and some useful advice about posting to the forum.

Sometimes a clean start can help. Delete the phone pairing from your phone handset and also from the car. Remove so it's not in the memory of either device. Delete out any other paired phones too. Then try and re pair again

If still doesn't work, try with a different phone to confirm it's an issue with the car
