1964 Mk2 remove air from clutch
Dear all,
after trying many different ways to get rid of the air in the clutch system, i have to ask for good advices. What I have done so far: All items are new. 1) Ventilated the normal way via the pedal. 2) From below with a bottle about 3m above. 3) Blocked the slave cylinder piston, ventilated with pedal. 4) Changed the pipe connection on the slave cyl from above to the bottom so the vent valve is on top of the slave. What else can be done?
kind regards
Charles

Use a Gunson bleeder.
See this thread, when it comes to the gasket.
I did get mine free of air with a vacuum pump, but it took a very long time to get the air out.
Next time I will use the Eeziblled system.
