Default 340 Power Steering

This seems like an simple question but I can't seem to get it right. After re fitting my power steering box and all I cannot get the reservoir hoses to quit leaking. Moss want $50 plus shipping for 2 hoses. I took the old ones and had some hyd hose cut to the correct length. No matter how tight I do the clamps the hoses still leak at the reservoir fittings. What's up?

I think we talked about this recently. Aren't there some olive joints that go up inside the reservoir fittings that the hose clamps up against.
The actual rubber hose it held on to the fitting by jubilee clamps but the metal fitting which screws into the base of the reservoir to which the rubber hose connects has several olive joints and seals as can be seen in the parts diagram below. Part numbers 6, 8 and 10.
I recall someone saying they were having difficulty finding the original part and had to fit a rubber washer seal from a multi kit.

Thanks. When I removed the reservoir form the car one of the hose fittings wasn't threaded in fully? I have no idea of how that happened. I went ahead and found a couple of O rings that fit and now I have no leak.
Thanks again.

So much for no leaks. My reservoir is leaking again. The O rings I fitted look to be the same diameter but don't look to be quite thick enough to seal the opening. I've removed it again and looking for suggestions?

Try putting two O rings in each connection. Might fill up the gap and the rubber of the two O rings will seal against themselves. Failing that I use this stuff to form gaskets and it might work in the connection rather than an O ring.
