Hi! I'm a new member in search of a needle in a haystack. I have a highly customized 1992 London Taxi that has DS420 door handles -- the kind with the round push button, no keyhole. Am looking for the internal locking mechanism for the right front door, which I believe is part #BD31361. Can anyone assist? Have found a few similar parts on eBay but not the one I need.

The door handles on the exterior anyway are same as a Series 2 Jaguar XJ6 (1974-79) I expect the internals are similar or do you need the limo parts particularly? The "go to" place for Daimler spares has always been John Gordon in the UK. There are very few limos left now, most have rusted away.

 

Pretty sure it's the limo internals only. John Gordon has been quite helpful - they have the mechanism and striker (new!) and a secondhand remote/link rod. Was poking around here to see if anyone else can offer a better condition rod.
