Default Daimler Oil Filter - What Part Number(S)?

I need a part number for the Daimler oil filter.
I've gone to a variety of auto parts stores, and no can find a relevant oil filter.

The closest was a filter for a Mercedes, but the aperture was a bit too small to fit into the male housing.

The local mechanics at a local shop( really a bunch of truly helpful guys! ) gave me there part numbers for the filter, but none of the local parts stores recognize these part numbers:

* XK120
* W4382
* 1535
* JLM9544(f)

I'm also told WIX **Might** have one that will work, but no one is sure: WIX51310

Does anyone have a part number for this oil filter?

Thanks~

Did you try looking on RockAuto to see their listings? That's a place I often cross reference part #s. Local guys likely won't know.

It might be worth looking at the conversion kit to a modern style filter, getting the new O ring positioned on the old filter is "FUN" especially if you are led on the floor with no ramp.

You have to get them on-line or order from an old Mom and Pop Auto Parts store. Most Jag part suppliers have them in stock. Conversions to spin-ons is a nice option, but have had the experience that one did not have enough threads and the individual that made them for the company passed and no longer available.

Many thanks for the newest experience and a lesson learned!
You've added to my albeit-small-but-growing knowledge
