Default Door Skin Interchange

I just purchased a 1959 Mark 1 and the lower 2-3 inches of the door skins need some attention. Do they make any reproduction parts for this? Can the lower sections of a Mk 2 be used? or do I have to fabricate my own panels?

My experience of repro body panels is that they fall into one of three categories: the ones that are such a bad fit that in many cases I might as well make them myself; the ones that are extremely expensive; and the ones that are very expensive and still don't fit. For the bottom 3 inches of a Mk1 or Mk2 door, I'd definitely make them myself. Apart from the points above, there was some variation in the original door and door frame dimensions overcome by mix and match during assembly at the Pressed Steel Company. If you don't feel very confident about making and fitting, have a look at Fitzee's Fabrications on YouTube.
